This article discusses the socio-technical dynamics related to practices carried out in the context of a self-declared Quilombola Community in the Serra das Viúvas, backlands of Alagoas. Such practices are addressed from the inter-relationship of various skills, techniques, stories and symbolic actions of (human and nonhuman) beings that are potentiated through the “engagement” of practical experience and constructed in social interaction. The analysis dialogues with propositions by Tim Ingold, in various theoretical contexts, and emphasizes the relationship of the concepts of nature and culture as inseparable from a field of interactions that relate to specific ways of being, doing and inhabiting the world. The emphasis of ethnographic research contextualizes the narratives of the women who founded the Association of Quilombola Women Artisans (AMAQUI), in the 1990s. The study reveals that the experience of knowing-doing of domestic groups within the community takes shape through everyday practices that point to a knowledge of the local ecosystem, but are permeated by a particular logic of belonging and reciprocity that produces meanings about the territory, in a given historical situation.Keywords: nature, culture, socio-technical practices.||O artigo aborda dinâmicas relacionadas a práticas sociotécnicas realizadas no contexto de uma comunidade autodeclarada remanescente de quilombo, da região da Serra das Viúvas, sertão alagoano. Tais práticas são abordadas a partir da inter-relação de diversas habilidades, técnicas, histórias e ações simbólicas de seres (humanos e não humanos) potencializadas por meio do “engajamento” da experiência prática e construídas na interação social. A análise dialoga com as proposições de Tim Ingold, em diversos contextos teóricos, e enfatiza a relação dos conceitos natureza-cultura como indissociável de um campo de interações que dizem respeito a formas específicas de ser, fazer e habitar o mundo. A ênfase da pesquisa etnográfica contextualiza as narrativas das mulheres que fundaram a Associação de Mulheres Artesãs Quilombolas (AMAQUI), na década de 1990. O estudo revela que a experiência dos saberes-fazeres dos grupos domésticos no seio da comunidade se configura por meio de práticas cotidianas que apontam a conhecimentos locais do ecossistema, mas que são permeadas por uma lógica própria de pertencimentos e reciprocidades que produzem sentidos sobre o território, numa situação histórica determinada.Palavras-chave: natureza, cultura, práticas sociotécnicas.
