O tema desta conferência é “A Sociologia como a arte da ruptura, da construção e da explicação”. Esta escolha foi a partir da proposta do IV ENESEB que sugere pensar a relação entre a Escola, o Currículo e a Sociologia. Inicialmente é discutido o tema de forma geral, ou seja, revendo como os clássicos da sociologia criaram a arte da ruptura, da construção e da explicação e a seguir, de forma particular, como a mesma arte deveria ser aplicada na escola, currículo, professor e alunos, na prática cotidiana.Palavras-chave: sociologia e explicação, sociologia e currículo, sociologia no ensino médio.||The theme of this conference is “Sociology as the art of disruption, of construction and of explanation”. The choice of such a theme was aroused by the proposal of the IV ENESEB which suggested we think about the relationship between school, curriculum and sociology. Initially there is an overall discussion on the topic, i.e., reviewing how the classics of sociology have created the art of disruption, of construction and of explanation and then a more thorough discussion on how that same art should be applied to school, curriculum, teacher and students on a day-to-day basis.Keywords: sociology and explanation, sociology and curriculum, sociology and high school education.
