And the photograph produced in group, the use of the image as mark of memory in reconstitute of events in of the social group, models of representation and repetition, thematic marks and composites thus as one dialogue with the past across of the spaces, in the perspective of one semiology of the imagistic popular auto- representative.||Ao problematizarmos o uso da imagem fotográfica na pesquisa em estudos culturais, abordamos duas perspectivas de análise: o fotógrafo/pesquisador, tomado neste artigo, como agente produtor, tendo suas imagens como fonte de documentação a ser incorporada aos relatórios de campo e a narrativa da pesquisa científica: fontes visuais que documentam a estrutura do conjunto social em sua ação cotidiana e a fotografia produzida no grupo, ou seja, o uso da imagem como marco de memória na reconstituição de eventos dentro do grupo social. Trata- se de padrões de representação e repetição, marcos temáticos e compositivos assim como um diálogo com o passado através dos espaços, na perspectiva de uma semiologia da imagética auto-representativa popular.
