The article is a study about of the nature of drawing like a fundamental element of the artistic process. The main intention was, as an artist, to understand the historical concepts, technical and poetic means to associate to the drawing for the construction of visual production.||O artigo é um estudo sobre a natureza do desenho como elemento fundamental do processo artístico. A principal intenção foi, como artista, compreender os conceitos históricos, técnicos e poéticos associados ao desenho e sua utilização na construção da produção visual.
