The present work seeks to investigate the relationships that photography establishes with the concepts of voluntary and involuntary memory, present in the work of Marcel Proust, "In Search of Lost Time". Using the novel, the research identifies in the literary text the presence of references about the visual image as a possibility of evoking involuntary memories. By relating studies related to history, memory, literature and photography, the study is inserted in the fields of interdisciplinarities, seeking to establish connections between the concept of experience and the literary and photographic fields. The work is linked to the PhD research in History by UFG "Performance and Photography: the Audiovisual Narrative of the Memories of Grupo Teatro Exercício", under the guidance of prof. Dr. Márcio Pizarro Noronha.||O presente trabalho procura investigar as relações que a fotografia estabelece com os conceitos de memória voluntária e involuntária, presentes na obra de Marcel Proust, "Em Busca do Tempo Perdido". Utilizando-se do romance, a pesquisa identifica no texto literário a presença de referências sobre a imagem visual enquanto possibilidade de evocação de memórias involuntárias. Ao relacionar estudos referentes a história, memória, literatura e fotografia, o estudo insere-se nos campos das lnterdisciplinaridades, buscando estabelecer conexões entre o conceito de experiência e os campos literário e fotográfico. O trabalho se vincula a pesquisa de Doutorado em História pela UFG "Performance e Fotografia: a Narrativa Audiovisual das Memórias do Grupo Teatro Exercício", sob orientação do prof. Dr. Márcio Pizarro Noronha.
