In this article, we focus on the study of the implications of ethnical speeches in Brazil, by the action politics affirmatives, privileging the discussion about the city and the democratization of its spaces, the memory games, the way subjects and groups negotiate these speeches, changing them into ethnical narratives. Through ethnographic research on the city of Novo Hamburgo/RS, we interpret the ethnical narratives of some subjects and the way this narratives articulate themselves to a dynamic of reconstitution of cultural and social life of the black people on the contemporary Brazilian society.||Neste artigo, focamos no estudo das implicações das discursividades étnicas no Brasil, via políticas de ações afirmativas, privilegiando a discussão sobre a cidade e a democratização dos seus espaços, os jogos da memória, a forma como os sujeitos e os grupos agenciam essas discursividades, transformando-as em “narrativas étnicas”. A partir de pesquisa etnográfica na cidade de Novo Hamburgo/RS, interpretamos as “narrativas étnicas”de alguns sujeitos e o modo como essas se articulam a uma dinâmica de reconstituição da vida social e cultural dos negros na sociedade brasileira contemporânea.
