In this essay, I will study the trajectory of committed art in the sixties, analyzing the relationship between the forms of committed art expression and the different audiences, receivers of these works. I will focus on three areas: theater, movies and popular music. I will present three categories to think the trajectory of these areas with their respective audiences. They are as follows: the ¿implosion¿ of the theater audience, the ¿closing off¿ of the movie audience; and the ¿opening up¿ of the popular music audience. These three processes modified a relatively homogeneous audience structure characterized by the ¿youth, student and on the left¿, that marked the ¿committed¿ sociability at the beginning of the sixties.||Ao longo deste ensaio vou analisar a trajetória da arte engajada nos anos 60, articulando a relação entre as formas de expressão artística engajada e os públicos receptores dessas obras. Enfocarei três áreas: teatro, cinema e música popular. Apresentarei três categorias para se pensar a trajetória dessas áreas com os seus públicos. São elas: a "implosão" do público de teatro, o "fechamento" do público de cinema e a "abertura" do público de música popular. Esses três processos acabam por modificar uma estrutura relativamente homogênea caracterizada pelo personagem "jovem, estudante e de esquerda", que marcou a sociabilidade "engajada" no início dos anos 60.
