This article is an abbreviated narrative of my doctoral process, which consisted of listening, mediated by narrative and non-directive interviews, the experiences lived by Visual Arts Teachers in relation to the special objects that inhabit their homes. Because all knowledge is self-knowledge, by hearing these narratives, I also recalled some experiences lived by myself, related especially with objects that inhabited the houses where I lived and that shaped me as the Visual Arts Teacher I am today. So, I also was also drawn into the investigated.||Este artigo é uma narrativa abreviada de meu processo doutoral, que consistiu em escutar, mediado pelas entrevistas narrativas e não diretivas, as experiências vividas por professores de Artes Visuais na relação com os objetos especiais que habitam suas casas. Como todo conhecer é autoconhecer, ao escutar essas narrativas, eu também relembrei de algumas experiências vividas por mim, relacionadas, especialmente, com os objetos que habitaram as casas onde morei e que me formaram no professor de Artes Visuais que sou. Sendo assim, fui igualmente tramado ao investigado.
