The aim of this investigation is to show and discuss the parameters of contemporaryhistoriography from the changes occurred in the last years. Besides that, it showshow, from these changes, alterations occur in senses and meanings of historicknowledge, mainly regarding the use of memory in the context of present time, bothin social and cultural field. Such aspects are shown in theoretical debate, seeking thecomprehension and importance of studying the theories of History in the compositionof notions like “future ideas in the past” and “culture of change”.|| Objetiva-se apresentar e discutir os parâmetros da historiografia contemporânea a partir das mudanças ocorridas durante os últimos anos. Mostrar como a partir dessas mudanças ocorrem alterações nos sentidos e significados do conhecimento histórico, especialmente quanto aos usos da memória no contexto do tempo presente, tanto no campo social como no cultural. Tais aspectos são apresentados no debate teórico, visando à compreensão e importância do estudo das teorias da História na composição das noções como ‘idéias de futuro no passado’ e ‘cultura da mudança’.
