The works of Dance-Theater of Pina Bausch are characterized by the disobedience to the foreseeable and polite formulas. The landmarks, the scripts obligatory are there, but the represented world understands the diving in the time-space that was registered/ recorded in the bodies of its actor-ballet dancers. The analysis of its only film, the Lament of the Empress in Portuguese O Lamento da Imperatriz, points with respect to the personage-city, that is there, with its rocks/stones, streets and forests, and the uncertain citizen that appears/figures in that personal geography. However, understanding the symbology of the city as universal, by analogy, we have the contemporary subject lost, deed of lines and pieces, in the incessant search of the happiness.||As obras de Dança-Teatro de Pina Bausch caracterizam-se pela desobediência às fórmulas polidas e previsíveis. Os marcos, os roteiros obrigatórios estão lá, mas o mundo representado compreende o mergulho no tempo-espaço que ficou registrado nos corpos de seus atores-bailarinos. A análise de seu único filme, O Lamento da Imperatriz, aponta para o personagem-cidade, que está lá, com suas pedras, ruas e bosques, e o sujeito incerto que figura nessa geografia pessoal. Porém, entendendo-se a simbologia da cidade como universal, por analogia, temos o sujeito contemporâneo perdido, feito de traços e pedaços, na busca incessante da felicidade.
