This paper aims to explore the conceptual problems relating to the figures of the owners/masters among the Marubo (a Panoan-speaking people of Western Amazonia). Through the ethnographical study of shamanism, personhood and cosmology of this people, issues about authorship, modes of creativity and circulation of knowledge will be explored in the text. The paper offers an investigation about the shamanistic conceptions relating to the production of knowledge and its mechanisms of control, thus offering certain cues to the understanding of transformations involved in the relations between the non-indigenous world and its property regime. || Este artigo trata de problemas conceituais vinculados às figuras dos donos/mestres entre os Marubo da Amazônia ocidental. Por meio da etnografia do xamanismo, da pessoa e da cosmologia de tal povo falante de língua Pano, busca-se discutir questões relacionadas à autoria, aos modos de criação e à circulação de saberes. Trata-se de oferecer uma investigação sobre os critérios deste pensamento xamanístico relacionados à produção de conhecimento e suas formas de controle, oferecendo, assim, elementos para a compreensão de transformações envolvidas na relação com o mundo não-indígena e seu regime de propriedade.
