Orientador: Ivanir Cozeniosque Silva||Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Artes||Resumo: Esta dissertação analisa os diferentes processos de construção poética associados a diversos projetos de exposição que realizei entre Havana e São Paulo. As obras aqui apresentadas remetem ao fenômeno da insularidade e a algumas das questões e problemáticas em torno desse contexto, diga-se: migração, fronteiras e relações sociopolíticas. Trata-se de projetos que abordam essas questões usando a pintura como linguagem e a paisagem como tema. Alguns dos conceitos sobre a paisagem no contexto da arte contemporânea são reforçados nesta pesquisa, bem como a pintura, dentro do universo das artes visuais. A tese apresenta um outro ponto de vista, de um estrangeiro que fala sobre seu local de origem, de dentro e de fora, enquanto aplica sua metodologia no novo local em que vive, com enfoque principal do pensamento insular||Abstract: This graduate thesis analyzes the diverse poetic construction processes associated with several of the exhibition projects that I have developed between Havana and Sao Paulo. The works here confer with the phenomenon of insularity and some of the issues and complications around that context, say: migration, borders and socio-political relations. They are projects that address these issues using painting as language and landscape as theme. Some of the concepts around landscape themes within the context of contemporary arts are heightened in this analysis, as well as painting, within the universe of the visual arts. This dissertation brings in another look, that of a foreigner that talks about his place of origin, from inside and outwards, while applying his methodologies to the new place where he lives, taking insular thought as primary frame of reference||Mestrado||Artes Visuais||Mestre em Artes Visuais||001||CAPES
