Analysis of the work Thus spoke Zarathustra (1883-1885), by the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. More specifically, they stop at the second moment of that work, Da redemption. In a sense, Zarathustra - as a kind of mask over Nietzsche's face - presents a good part of Nietzschean doctrine: there is a walk, or a crossing, that will take him to the hero's journey, both in terms of content and in the style of narrating your philosophy. Therefore, Zarathustra, as a mask for the philosopher Nietzsche, weaves his criticisms of the West, being also a mask through which the journey is taken and the subject's redemption is reached.||Propõe-se a análise da obra Assim falava Zaratustra (1883-1885), do filósofo alemão Friedrich Nietzsche. Mais especificamente, detem-se ao segundo momento da referida obra, Da redenção. Em certo sentido, Zaratustra – como uma espécie de máscara sobre o rosto de Nietzsche – apresenta boa parte da doutrina nietzschiana: há um caminhar, ou uma travessia, que o levará à jornada do herói, tanto no plano do conteúdo como no estilo de narrar sua filosofia. Portanto, Zaratustra, enquanto máscara para o filósofo Nietzsche, tece suas críticas ao Ocidente, sendo também máscara pela qual se trilha a jornada e se chega à redenção do sujeito.
