The article intends to focus in the Street Theater of the Popular Center of Culture, in an perspective that analyses that work in an João das Neves' point of view. In spite of many theories about the performance of the members of CPC, an exame of its praticals experiments exposes strongs facts of some theatral activities in publics places, laying emphasys on the participation of João das Neves.||Pretende-se, neste artigo, focalizar o Teatro de Rua do Centro Popular de Cultura, a partir de uma análise que considere o trabalho e a perspectiva de João das Neves. A despeito das muitas teorizações sobre a atuação cepecista, objetiva-se um exame de suas experimentações práticas, que exponha dados concretos de algumas atividades teatrais realizadas em espaços públicos, enfatizando a participação de João das Neves neste projeto.
