The museum as an intial element to the research of Latin American artists in thre theme of this article. We seek to understand how important name in contemporary artistic production transformed the museum institutions in poetica problem. Therefore we selected works of Fabiano Gonper, Mabe Bethônico, Mario García Torres, Cristian Segura and others. Works dedicated to discuss acquisitionmodels, circulation, filing and display operated by the institutions. We do no want to point affiliation with the Institutional Critic of the 1970s, we care to understand the works for negotiationg operated between artists and museums.||O museu como elemento matricial para as pesquisas de artistas latino-americanos é o mote deste artigo. Buscamos compreender como nomes importantes da produção artística contemporânea transformaram as instituições museológicas em problema poético. Para tanto elencamos obras de Fabiano Gonper, Mabe Bethônico, Mario García Torres, Cristian Segura entre outros. Obras dedicadas a problematizar modelos de aquisição, circulação, arquivamento e exibição operadas pelas instituições. Menos que apontar filiações com a Crítica Institucional dos anos de 1970, nos preocupamos em compreender as obras pela negociação operada entre criadores e museus.
