As many times the concept of caricature is confused with the concept of cartoon, this article tries to understand some aspects of the formation of these concepts, emphasizing the possibility of its deployment when it refers to the political-ideological image.||Como muitas vezes o conceito de caricatura se mistura com o de charge, buscou-se neste artigo compreender alguns aspectos da formação destes conceitos dando destaque à possibilidade de seu desdobramento quando se trata de imagem político-ideológica.
