Este trabajo reflexiona en torno al mes cultural llamado AbrilCultural Salteño llevado a cabo por la asociación sin fines de lucro Pro CulturaSalta. A través de este análisis se pretende ver cómo la “idea” de unosamigos se consolida en una política de Estado orientada a la cultura, particularmentedurante la década de los noventa en la ciudad de Salta. Mostrandolas transformaciones de los Abriles Culturales en este momento históricoy social se busca comprender cómo se performatiza la cultura y se haceel Estado de Salta. Para comprender esas transformaciones se torna importanteprestar atención a qué significa organizar y en esa organización quéformas de gobiernos se realizan.||This work is a reflection on a monthly event called Salta’sCultural April promoted by a nonprofit association denominated Pro CulturaSalta. The analysis aims to understand how an “idea” from a group of friendsbecame a cultural policy conducted by the State in the nineties in the city ofSalta. By focusing in the transformations of Cultural April in that historicaland social moment we can comprehend how culture becomes a performanceand how the State is made by that performance. To understand those transformationsit is important to pay attention to what to organize means andwhat kind of governance is in the making through that organization.
