The essay, anchored in the production of knowledge in sociology and anthropology, uses poetic metaphors and the ethical-aesthetic-political insurgency resulting from the movement of people with disabilities, when addressing contemporary perspectives of what is understood by other possibilities of places of speech. The authors use Cervantes' characters in Don Quixote and the Myth of the Medusa as metaphors to discuss the theme based on the contributions of Georg Simmel, Cliffod Geertz, Marcel Mauss, Roberto Da Matta, among others. The so-called crip epistemology, identity and emancipatory struggles emerge as central elements of what we postulate to be the existential territories of people with disabilities, reconfiguring their social and historical relations with the societal “corpus”. The essay, when dialoguing with the Social Sciences, establishes bridges with “artivism”, which seeks to offer perspectives for confronting “regimes of visibility of human capabilities”, especially when the latter restrict the accessibility and socio-cultural inclusion of human diversity.||O ensaio, ancorado na produção de conhecimento da sociologia e antropologia, serve-se de metáforas poéticas e da insurgência ético-estético-político resultante do movimento de pessoas com deficiência, ao abordar perspectivas contemporâneas do que se entende por outras possibilidades de lugares de fala. Os autores utilizam como metáforas os personagens de Cervantes em Don Quixote e o Mito da Medusa como ancoragem para discorrer sobre o tema a partir das contribuições de Georg Simmel, Clifford Geertz, Marcel Mauss, Roberto Da Matta, entre outros. A chamada epistemologia crip e as lutas identitárias e emancipatórias surgem como elementos centrais do que postulamos ser os territórios existenciais das pessoas com deficiência, reconfigurando suas relações sociais e históricas com o “corpus” societário. O ensaio, ao dialogar com as Ciências Sociais, estabelece pontes com o “artevismo”. Este possibilita o enfrentamento das “normatividades dos regimes de visibilidade das capacidades humanas”, notadamente quando estes últimos restringem a acessibilidade e inclusão sociocultural da diversidade humana.
