This article aims to analyze the subtitled localization of the song Good Riddance (Já Vão Tarde, in Brazilian Portuguese), from the soundtrack of Hades (2020), a digital game developed by the independent company Supergiant Games. Firstly, it presents some theoretical foundations about Translation Studies, digital game localization, subtitling, song translation, and, more specifically, Aubert's (2011) translation modalities and Widman and Zavaglia's (2017) translation strategies. Through this analysis, we investigate whether the subtitle localization of the song has traces of literality or textual equivalence. The results of the analysis indicate that the song localization in Brazilian Portuguese tends towards literality, as it presents a greater number of translation modalities that seek to preserve the semantic-syntactic structure of the source text, with few insertions of the target language.||O presente artigo busca analisar a localização da canção legendada Good Riddance (Já Vão Tarde, em português brasileiro), presente na trilha sonora de Hades (2020), jogo digital desenvolvido pela empresa independente Supergiant Games. Parte-se das fundamentações teóricas pertencentes aos Estudos da Tradução, à localização de jogos digitais, à legendagem, à tradução de canções e, mais especificamente, às modalidades de tradução de Aubert (2011) e às estratégias tradutórias de Widman e Zavaglia (2017). Por meio dessa análise, investiga-se se a localização legendada da canção possui traços de literalidade ou de equivalência textual. Os resultados da análise indicam que a localização em português brasileiro tende à literalidade, na medida em que apresenta uma maior quantidade de modalidades de tradução que buscam preservar a estrutura semântico-sintática do texto de partida, com poucas inserções da língua de chegada.
