The study analyzes how the women who made up the Federal Senate, the body responsible for judging the impeachment of presidents of the Republic, behaved discursively during the impeachment trial of Dilma Rousseff. The focus of the analysis is on the discoursive position, which guides the social perspective of the parliamentarians. The analysis concludes that the political and discursive positioning did not always coincide with the ideological spectrum and that, depending on this spectrum, the discourse of inequality between men and women, especially in the political arena, was valued or ignored by the senators, in consonance with the premises that the place of speech constitutes an important operator of meanings, following the social perspective of the arguments.||O estudo analisa como se comportaram discursivamente, durante o julgamento do impeachment de Dilma Rousseff, as mulheres que compunham o Senado Federal, instância responsável por julgar o impedimento dos presidentes da República. O foco da análise está no lugar de fala, que orienta a perspectiva social das parlamentares. Conclui-se, pelas análises, que o posicionamento político e discursivo nem sempre coincidiu com o espectro ideológico e que, a depender desse espectro, o discurso da desigualdade entre homens e mulheres, principalmente na arena política, foi valorizado ou ignorado pelas senadoras, em consonância com as premissas de que o lugar de fala constitui um importante operador de sentidos, ao seguir a perspectiva social dos argumentos.
