Reflecting on the absence of women artists in art museum exhibition spaces, the article seeks to understand curatorial practices that aim to showcase the artistic productions of women artists. Using the theoretical framework of Linda Nochlin, Maura Reilly, Amélia Jones and Whitney Chadwick, we present ways of thinking about these curatorships/exhibitions, which are so important for the visibility and openness of the museum space to new narratives.
||Refletindo sobre a escassa presença de mulheres artistas nos espaços expositivos dos museus de arte, o artigo busca compreender as práticas curatoriais que tenham como objetivo dar a ver as produções artísticas de artistas mulheres. Com arcabouço teórico de Linda Nochlin, Maura Reilly, Amélia Jones e Whitney Chadwick, apresenta-se aqui as formas de se pensar essas curadorias/exposições, tão importantes para a visibilidade e abertura do espaço museal para novas narrativas.
