ART AS A TOOL TO DEVELOP AUTONOMY AND CRITICAL SENSE AT UNIVERSITY
Abstract: This paper relies on the idea that Art can be used in developing the autonomy and critical sense of university students. This is a bibliographical research articulating educators such as: Paulo Freire, Susan O'Neill and Augusto Boal with the context of art in university education. The data analysis evidenced little use of art in education, especially in higher education. The research also served as the basis for the production of a fanzine that brought a compilation of suggestions for possible artistic activities to assist the teaching process at universities.|| A ARTE COMO FERRAMENTA PARA DESENVOLVER A AUTONOMIA E O SENSO CRÍTICO NA UNIVERSIDADE
Resumo: Parte-se da ideia de que a arte pode ser utilizada no desenvolvimento da autonomia e do senso crítico do estudante universitário. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica articulando educadores como: Paulo Freire, Susan O’Neill e Augusto Boal com o contexto da arte na educação das universidades. No levantamento realizado pouco se evidenciou a utilização da arte na educação, principalmente quando se pensa no ensino superior. A pesquisa também serviu como base para produção de um fanzine que trouxe um compilado de sugestões de atividades artísticas possíveis para auxiliar no processo de ensino nas universidades.
