Este artigo efetua uma reflexão acerca da tendência, na recente produção artística visual, de questionamento das bordas entre realidade e ficção. Considerando a imagem como resultado de uma manipulação, objetiva pensá-la como imagem-ficção na transformação do presente através da multiplicação de mundos possíveis. Nesse sentido, ela é considerada como resultado do fingere e como via de apreensão do real, que questiona a memória de nossa sociedade e que reconsidera seu papel e responsabilidade na construção da história e de coletividades. Conclui-se que a imagem é potência presente e atuante para se construir novas formas de se viver.||This article conduces a reflection about recent visual artistic production that questions the borders between reality and fiction. Considering image as a result of a process of manipulation, it aims conceive it as an image-fiction in the transformation of the present by the multiplication of possible worlds. In this sense, it is considered as a result of the fingere and as a way of seizing the real, which questions the memory of our society and reconsider their role and responsibility in building history and collectivities. We conclude that image is a present and active potency to build different ways of living.
