Faced with the expressiveness of Afro-Brazilian literature as a culture of the borders, and its functioning as a symbol of denunciation, writers such as Conceição Evaristo reflect in their writings the voice of black women and the fight against social injustices, revealing a place of resistance to the African and African diaspora. a literary perspective of authorship. From this point of view, the issue of racism and the need to build an ethnic equality are considered. It is based on the multimodality of language and on the semiotics of cultures to propose the literary reading of two poems by the aforementioned writer, whose performative, semiotic voice, makes the symbolic of language emerge in the textual materiality, whose meanings arouse the human imagination, allowing the reader, the reconstruction of the African diaspora and the perception of the authorship of black women committed to the trajectory of their people. The importance of discussing ethnic-racial relations - Law 10.639 - is highlighted, which make the teaching of Afro-Brazilian History and Culture mandatory in Brazilian education networks, especially public education, with socioeconomic characteristics of exclusion, requiring of approaches that make it possible to break with the paradigm of socially crystallized racism, in favor of the development of critical thinking and the recognition of movements for the redemocratization of socio-educational public policies.||Diante da expressividade da literatura afro-brasileira como cultura das bordas e seu funcionamento como símbolo de denúncia, escritoras como Conceição Evaristo refletem, em suas escritas, a voz da mulher negra e o combate às injustiças sociais, revelando um lugar de resistência à diáspora africana e uma perspectiva literária de autoria. Sob esta ótica, considera-se a problemática do racismo e a necessidade de construção de uma igualdade étnica. O artigo se baseia na multimodalidade da linguagem e na semiótica das culturas para propor a leitura literária de dois poemas da referida escritora, cuja voz performática, semiotizada, faz emergir na materialidade textual o simbólico da linguagem, cujos sentidos suscitam o imaginário humano, permitindo, ao leitor, a reconstrução da diáspora africana e a percepção do lugar de autoria da mulher negra comprometida com a trajetória do seu povo. Destaca-se a importância de discutir as relações étnico-raciais – Lei 10.639 – que tornam obrigatório o ensino da História e da Cultura Afro-Brasileira nas redes de ensino brasileiras, em especial, na educação pública, com características socioeconômicas de exclusão, necessitando de abordagens que possibilitem romper com o paradigma do racismo cristalizado socialmente em prol do desenvolvimento do pensamento crítico e do reconhecimento de movimentos de redemocratização de políticas públicas socioeducacionais.
