This article takes the film “Bacurau” as the object of reflection to discuss the concept of subject based on two notions of Judith Butler: gender performativity, through the character Lunga, and the unequal distribution of precarity, through relations of recognition between residents and foreigners in the fictional village. We take the cinematographic narrative as a cultural document that, in a pedagogical perspective, teaches and problematizes subjects, frames and identities.||Este artigo toma o filme “Bacurau” como objeto de reflexão para debater o conceito de sujeito a partir de duas noções de Judith Butler: a performatividade de gênero, a partir do personagem Lunga, e a distribuição desigual de condições precárias de vida, através das relações de reconhecimento entre moradores e estrangeiros do povoado fictício. Tomamos a narrativa cinematográfica como um documento cultural que, em uma perspectiva pedagógica, nos ensina e problematiza sujeitos, enquadramentos e identidades.
