Assistive technologies are key to overcoming physical and cognitive barriers, improving the education of students with disabilities. The study aimed to point out elements that optimize an effective inclusion of students with cerebral palsy, contributing to the construction of a more accessible and inclusive learning environment, especially the use of assistive technologies in the educational trajectory of a student with cerebral palsy, from elementary school to higher education. To this end, the autobiographical narrative of one of the authors was used, involving life experience, autobiography and story narration, in addition, the theoretical contribution of the specialized literature on the themes covered by the study was used. As a result of the study, it was possible to verify the importance of continuous training of teachers, the assertive use of assistive technologies and specialized educational services.
||As tecnologias assistivas são fundamentais para superar barreiras físicas e cognitivas, melhorando a educação de estudantes com deficiências. O estudo teve como objetivo foi apontar elementos que otimizem uma inclusão efetiva de alunos com paralisia cerebral, contribuindo para a construção de um ambiente de aprendizagem mais acessível e inclusivo, especialmente o uso das tecnologias assistivas na trajetória educacional de um aluno com paralisia cerebral, que desde o ensino fundamental até o ensino superior. Para tanto, foi utilizada a narrativa autobiográfica de um dos autores, envolvendo experiência de vida, autobiografia e narração de história, além disso, utilizou-se o aporte teórico da literatura especializada nos temas que abrangem o estudo. Como resultados do estudo, foi possível constatar a importância da formação contínua dos professores, do uso assertivo das tecnologias assistivas e dos serviços de atendimento educacional especializado.
