This article aims to reflect on how the interactions between memory, culture and heritage start to take shape after postmodernism, and aims to point out the positioning of the instruments of preservation of culture in this context. This is a exploratory bibliographic study, whose theoretical objects are the concepts of culture, memory and heritage from post-modernity, and their dilemmas. It is understood that the strong interaction between cultures has favored transculture, which can be understood as a phenomenon that develops with cultural exchanges and impositions and assumes the role of local cultures or leads them to de-characterization. It is concluded that despite the patrimonialization be an alternative for the preservation of the culture, this is a selection, so that it tends to exclude the great part of the cultural objects and manifestations, since not everything can be covered by instruments of preservation.|| Este artigo tem como proposta fazer uma reflexão a respeito de como as interações entre memória, cultura e patrimônio, passam a se configurar a partir do pós-modernismo, e tem como objetivo pontuar o posicionamento dos instrumentos depreservação da cultura nesse contexto. Trata-se de um estudo bibliográfico exploratório, cujos objetos teóricos são os conceitos de cultura, memória e patrimônio a partir da pós-modernidade, e seus dilemas. Compreende-se que a forte interação entre culturas temfavorecido a transcultura, a qual pode ser entendida como um fenômeno que sedesenvolve com as trocas e imposições culturais e assume o papel das culturas locais ouas leva à descaracterização. Conclui-se que apesar de a patrimonialização ser uma alternativa para a preservação da cultura, esta pressupõe uma seleção, de modo que tende a excluir a grande parte dosobjetos e manifestações culturais, já que nem tudo pode ser abrangido pelosinstrumentos de preservação
