Ensuring quality in education is linked to promoting equity, ensuring that all students, regardless of their individual characteristics, have access to various educational opportunities. This means recognizing the diversity of students, taking into account their different ways of learning, their limits, potentialities, and individual paces. Based on an expanded notion of inclusive education, aimed at socioeconomic, cultural, intellectual, physical, gender, and sexuality diversities, we present in this work the profile and characteristics of publications that discuss the theme “diversity and inclusion” in scientific productions between 2014 and 2024. To this end, we conducted a bibliographic search in two databases, namely Scopus and Web of Science, using the terms diversity and inclusion. The generated data were analyzed and processed using the bibliometric software VOSviewer. The research highlights that the concepts of diversity and inclusion are interconnected with various areas of society, reflecting their complexity and the need for an interdisciplinary approach. In addition to including different groups, inclusion also encompasses various theoretical and methodological perspectives in research. The relevance of Brazil in this field is highlighted, reinforcing the importance of continuing to explore these issues to build a more just and inclusive society.||A garantia da qualidade na educação está ligada à promoção da equidade, assegurando que todos os estudantes, independentemente de suas características individuais, tenham acesso a diversas oportunidades educacionais. Isso significa reconhecer a diversidade dos estudantes, levando em conta suas diferentes formas de aprender, seus limites, potencialidades e ritmos individuais. Partindo de uma noção ampliada de educação inclusiva, voltada às diversidades socioeconômicas, culturais, intelectuais, físicas, de gênero e sexualidade, apresentamos neste trabalho o perfil e as características de publicações que discutem a temática “diversidades e inclusão”, presentes em produções científicas entre 2014 e 2024. Para tanto, realizamos uma busca bibliográfica em duas bases de dados, sendo elas a scopus e a web of science, a partir dos termos Diversidades e Inclusão. Os dados gerados foram analisados e tratados por meio do software bibliométrico VOSviewer. A pesquisa destaca que os conceitos de diversidade e inclusão estão interligados com várias áreas da sociedade, refletindo sua complexidade e a necessidade de uma abordagem interdisciplinar. Além de incluir diferentes grupos, a inclusão também abrange diversas perspectivas teóricas e metodológicas nas pesquisas. A relevância do Brasil nesse campo é sublinhada, reforçando a importância de continuar explorando essas questões para construir uma sociedade mais justa e inclusiva.
