This article is result of reflections by difficulties arising from interpretation of texts submitted by students in the classroom and its main objective is to highlight the importance of working reading of different text types in language classes and, from them, exploring/teaching the intertextuality, helping students in the comprehension of the explicit interrelationships and/or implied that are established between texts/discourses. In it also point to some examples of work that can be developed from this perspective.||Este artigo, fruto de reflexões surgidas mediante dificuldades de interpretação de textos apresentadas por alunos em aula, tem como objetivo principal destacar a importância de trabalhar a leitura de diferentes gêneros textuais nas aulas de língua materna e, a partir deles, explorar/ensinar a intertextualidade, auxiliando os alunos na compreensão das inter-relações explícitas e/ou implícitas que se estabelecem entre textos/discursos. Nele também se apontam alguns exemplos de trabalhos que podem ser desenvolvidos nessa perspectiva.
