O artigo apresenta um trabalho realizado com estudantes adolescentes. O intuito foi investigar, a partir de seus desenhos, suas concepções a respeito de gênero. O trabalho consistiu em ler para os alunos três frases, sem identificação de gênero, e pedir-lhes que as representassem através de desenhos. A intenção foi analisar quais relações com os gêneros masculino e feminino os alunos realizariam. Com a análise dos desenhos foi possível perceber a reiteração dos estereótipos de gênero em suas criações. Reading images: gender stereotypes in students' drawingsAbstract: The article presents an exercise carried out with teenage students. The intention was to investigate their conceptions regarding gender by means of drawing. The exercise consisted of reading three sentences without gender identification to the students, and asking them to represent the phrases with drawings. The intention was to analyze masculine and feminine gender references made. The analysis of the drawings made it possible to observe the reiteration of gender stereotypes in their creations.
