Neste artigo, meu propósito é refletir sobre o processo de criação de meu próprio campo de pesquisa, em que busquei investigar a invisibilidade de mulheres pescadoras. Inspirei-me em Gioconda Mussolini, que permaneceu invisível por muito tempo, porém que é de forma inegável a precursora dos estudos sobre pesca no Brasil. Gioconda Mussolini me inspira duplamente, pela própria invisibilidade na qual permaneceu e que veio à tona com a pesquisa de Ciacchi e pela forma como deixou-nos uma pioneira etnografia sobre a pesca.||In this article, my purpose is to think about the process of creation of my field itself of inquiry in which I looked to investigate the fisherwomen's invisibility. I was inspired in Gioconda Mussolini, which remained invisibly for much time, however which is in the undeniable form the precursor of the studies on fishing in Brazil. Gioconda Mussolini inspires me doubly, for the invisibility itself in which it remained and that came to the surface with the inquiry of Ciacchi and for the form as it left us a pioneer ethnography about the fishing
