Este trabalho apresenta parte de uma pesquisa em curso sobre mercados alternativos. No meu doutorado venho estudando o mercado de produtos orgânicos no Estado do Rio de Janeiro, com foco na criação do Circuito Carioca de Feiras Orgânicas. Na sequência discutirei o recorte do objeto de pesquisa. Neste trabalho pretendo apenas apresentar duas estórias de vida, no sentido de Bertaux (1980), de dois agentes da construção política desse mercado. Na segunda seção deste artigo exponho esse material empírico, indicando também o modo como ele foi recolhido. Por fim, e munido da categoria de capital simbólico, proponho algumas reflexões a partir dessas estórias de vida. A intenção é, não obstante, ir além do que o material empírico permite sustentar e formular hipóteses orientadoras dos passos de pesquisa futuros. Palavras-chave: Construção social de mercado. The agents of the construction market policyAbstract This paper presents part of one ongoing research about alternative markets. As PhD candidate, I am studying the organic food market in the state of Rio de Janeiro, especially the Carioca Circuit of Organic Fairs. In following, I discuss the outline of this object of research. In this paper, I intend to present only two life stories, in the sense of Bertaux (1980), of two agents of the political construction of this market. In the second section of the text, I will expose the empirical data, including the way in which they were collected. In the last section, I will make some considerations about those stories of live, using the category of symbolic power. My intention is to surpass the data and to suggest further hypothesis for this ongoing research. Key-words: Social construction of the market. Organic agriculture. Symbolic capital.
