In this article I bring a vision of the play beyond childhood. The play here is seen as space for a meeting, a meeting with the other and with oneself. For this I sought understandings in psychology and performance studies. When bringing to the theatrical environment I relate playing with the archetype of the Trickster, the clowning and the meeting promoted in watching the show Provisionally we will not sing the love, from Cia Traço.||Neste artigo busco estender a visão de jogo para além da infância. O jogo aqui é visto como espaço para o encontro com o outro e consigo mesmo. Para isto busco compreensões na psicologia e nos estudos da performance. Ao trazer para o território teatral relaciono o jogar com o arquétipo do Trickster, a palhaçaria e o encontro promovido ao assistir o espectáculo Provisoriamente não cantaremos o amor, da Cia Traço.
