In this paper we propose to present the partial results of the master's research about the aesthetic experiences of Symbolism in Brazil of the late nineteenth century, more specifically in the city of Rio de Janeiro. We consider a selection of material in order to restore the importance of the symbolist literary magazine Pierrot, published in 1890, in a differentiated theoretical approach that scales the disruptive potential of this journal and allows perceive it as an original production, which makes it possible to understand the intrinsic political nature of the aesthetic manifestations.||Este trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar os resultados parciais da pesquisa desenvolvida no mestrado acerca das experiências estéticas simbolistas que tomaram corpo no final do século XIX, no Brasil, mais especificamente na cidade do Rio de Janeiro. A proposta é expor uma seleção de material inédito para recuperar a importância da revista literária simbolista Pierrot, publicada em 1890, em uma abordagem diferenciada, que dimensiona o potencial disruptivo desse impresso na cena finissecular e que possibilita percebê-lo como produção original, ao entrever o caráter político intrínseco a suas manifestações estéticas.
