A Resolução nº 1/2013 do Senado Federal cria a necessária avaliação anual do Sistema Tributário Nacional. Nesse contexto, devemos inserir as discussões sobre a tributação ambiental e a moralidade. A tributação ambiental pode contribuir positivamente para a moralidade tributária e ambiental do Estado. Na análise desta assertiva, explicitam-se os conceitos da função extrafiscal dos tributos, do tributo ambiental, da moral tributária e da moral ambiental, para, ao final, demonstrar a razão da afirmação feita. ||Resolution nº 1/2013 of the Brazilian Senate created the need for annual evaluation of the national tax system. In this context, we can insert discussions about environmental taxation and morality. An environmental tax can contribute positively to the tax and environmental morality practiced by the state. The analysis of this affirmation presents the concepts of extra-fiscal function of taxes, environmental taxation, moral taxation and environmental morality, to demonstrate the reason for the affirmation made.
