The objective of this research is to analyze whether adherence by the State and citizens to the ideology of technological solutionism can generate impacts on democracy. The technological hypothesis raised is that the transfer of State duties to companies can affect democracy. The justification for the analysis carried out is based on the social and legal importance of discussing the positive and negative effects of technology on democracy and fundamental rights. The research is guided by the hypothetical deductive method, with a qualitative approach, basic nature and exploratory study, based on a bibliographic survey in magazines and books. As main results, it is obtained that the solutions presented through information and technology can both be beneficial for democracy and can generate risks to its maintenance. However, in relation to the transfer of state duties to technology companies, there would be a democratic problem. This study contributed to the identification of a problem that arises from advances in technology, that is, the risks to democracy and fundamental rights arising from orientation towards the ideology of technological solutionism. Future research can investigate the problem in order to identify effective measures capable of avoiding it.||O objetivo desta pesquisa é analisar se a aderência por parte do Estado e dos cidadãos à ideologia do solucionismo tecnológico pode gerar impactos na democracia. A hipótese levantada é que a transferência dos deveres do Estado às empresas de tecnologia pode afetar a democracia. A justificativa da análise realizada se dá a partir da importância social e jurídica da discussão acerca dos efeitos positivos e negativos da tecnologia sobre a democracia e os direitos fundamentais. A pesquisa norteia-se pelo método hipotético dedutivo, com abordagem qualitativa, natureza básica e estudo exploratório, a partir de levantamento bibliográfico em revistas e livros. Como principais resultados, verificou-se que as soluções apresentadas por meio de informação e tecnologia podem tanto ser benéficas à democracia, quanto podem gerar riscos à sua manutenção. Contudo, em relação à transferência dos deveres estatais para as empresas de tecnologia haveria um problema de ordem democrática. Este estudo contribuiu com a identificação de um problema que surge a partir dos avanços da tecnologia, ou seja, os riscos à democracia e aos direitos fundamentais decorrentes da aderência à ideologia do solucionismo tecnológico. Pesquisas futuras podem se debruçar sobre o problema a fim de identificar medidas efetivas capazes de evitá-lo.
