The article problematizes the modern conception of knowledge adopted by traditional and critical curricular theories of Physical Education. As an alternative, it presents the rhizomatic perspective inspired by post-structuralism, which has influenced the cultural curriculum of Physical Education. In methodological terms, it interweaves conceptual arguments and fragments of reports on experiences of thematizing bodily practices drawn up by teachers who claim to put this teaching approach into action. It considers that the rhizomatic conception of knowledge, when coupled with the cultural curriculum of Physical Education, escapes the arboreal model of organizing knowledge, to propose a didactic approach that develops in multiple directions, without a fixed center or a centralized power structure.
||O artigo problematiza a concepção moderna de conhecimento adotada pelas teorias curriculares tradicionais e críticas da Educação Física. Apresenta como alternativa a perspectiva rizomática inspirada no pós-estruturalismo, a mesma a influenciar o currículo cultural da Educação Física. Em termos metodológicos, entrelaça argumentos conceituais e fragmentos de relatos de experiências de tematização de práticas corporais elaborados por professores que afirmam colocar em ação essa vertente de ensino. Pondera que a concepção rizomática do conhecimento, quando acoplada ao currículo cultural da Educação Física, escapa do modelo arbóreo de organização dos saberes, para propor uma didática que se desenvolve em múltiplas direções, sem um centro fixo ou uma estrutura de poder centralizada.
