The paper aims to question the use of the same term web TV to designate things that are sometimes quite different In it, we analyze three empirical situations (Internet sites) in which the object web TV is authenticated: the Media Guide, Justin TV and You Tube. For the analysis, we adopt the methodology of the frames (frame analysis), subscribed to Bergson phenomenology. In the conclusion, the article offers alternatives to think television and web TV as genealogical upgrades to the tele-vision.||El artículo tiene por objetivo problematizar el uso del mismo término web TV para designar cosas que a veces son mucho diferentes. En él texto, se analizan tres situaciones empíricas (sitios de Internet) en que el objeto web TV es autenticado: la Guía de Medios, la Justin TV y el You Tube. Para el análisis, se adopta la metodología de los marcos, suscrita a la fenomenología de Bergson. En las consideraciones finales, el artículo ofrece alternativas para pensar la televisión y la web TV como actualizaciones genealógicas de la televisión.||O artigo tem por objetivo problematizar o uso do mesmo termo web TV para designar coisas que são às vezes bastante diferentes. Nele, analisam-se três situações empíricas (sites de Internet) em que o objeto web TV é autenticado: o Guia de Mídia, a Justin TV e o You Tube. Para a análise, adota-se a metodologia das molduras, subscrita à fenomenologia bergsoniana. Nas considerações finais, o artigo oferece alternativas para pensar a televisão e a web TV como atualizações genealógicas da televisão.
