Este trabalho apresenta uma perspectiva visual dos rituais públicos dedicados a Iemanjá. Para isso, foram selecionados 5 cortejos Presente de Iemanjá, que percorrem a cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Foram traçados paralelos históricos e também visuais do que faz deste rito uma grande movimentação de fé, artística, social e de resistência. Compreendendo que a fotografia pode ser um meio de memória e valorização desta prática ritual, observo em outros fotógrafos sua aparição. Propondo interpretações sobre essas imagens e faço delas testemunhos valiosos da perpetuação das homenagens a Iemanjá. Por fim, apresento minha pesquisa com a fotografia, nascida da vivência com estes 5 cortejos.||This work show a visual perspective of the public rituals dedicate to Iemanjá. For that were selected five processions, gifts from Iemanjá, that run through the city of Rio de Janeiro. Were draw history and visuals parallels about who does this rite a faith, artistic, social and resistance movement. Understanding the photographic can be the way to memorize and value this ritual practice, I notice in other photographers this appearance. Proposing interpretations on these images and making them valuable testimonies of the perpetuation of homages to Iemanjá. Finally I present my photographic research, born of the experience in these five processions.
